When it comes to certified diving in Sydney, Expedition Dive can definitely help teach you diving, refresh or upgrade your diving skills of all experience levels. Offering a variety of PADI courses, there’s sure to be a program that can suit not just your level of expertise but budget as well.

If your goal is to just try diving for the first time or if you have limited schedule and not able to do a full course, you can start with Discover Scuba Diving experience where you’ll be introduced to the world of diving; taught how to dive properly and safely. You’ll learn about gear and equipment as well as how to use them while diving.

For those who have had experience in diving, refresher courses are available with the option of having it in the pool, boat or shore dive. If you have been diving for years or are already certified, Expedition Dive’s advanced courses that range from Advanced Open Water Diver, Rescue Diver Course, Dive Master or Master Scuba Diver will certainly make challenging activities to test the diving certification Sydney has granted you.

As you may already be aware, Sydney is known to be home to a number of best diving spots worldwide. Top it off with an abundant marine life where all kinds of colourful underwater species thrive, it’s no wonder why people always make time to experience this sport. Certified diving in Sydney commonly comprises of two options: Guided Shore Diving or Guided Boat Diving. From the name itself, the former is done from shore where you build up your diving equipment, wear or put it on and then walk to the beach. The latter, also from its name, means you reach a particular diving site by boat and dive from there.

For boat dives, Expedition Dive options include Bombo Wreck, Cronulla, Currajong Wreck, Foggies Cave, Sydney Harbour (night dive), Old Man’s Hat and Centurion Wreck, HMAS Adelaide, SS Duckenfield and the Wall, Shell Harbour, Valiant Wreck and scuba diving with seals.

If you’re feeling adventurous and want to go shark diving, Sydney has Magic Point and Gordons Bay to offer. Or you can try diving at the Sydney Aquarium and have a close encounter with sharks, huge stingrays and turtles.

It’s common that while diving may start out as an activity or adventure to try, you would learn to love it as you experience more of what amazing beauty the ocean has to offer.
