If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase we will give you a
Full refund with 3 days of purchase. Please email us at info@expeditiondive.com.au within that time if you are not satisfied with your purchase so that we can resolve any

problems.  Booking reservations after 3 days are considered date reserved and non-refundable.   In the event cancels, reschedules or re-booking written notice at least 10 days prior to the event commencement is required.  If written notice within 10 days prior to scheduled dive is not given, then re-booking fee’s will apply and may result in full loss of booking fee or deposit.

Refund/ Return Policy

If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase we will give you a full refund within 3 days of purchase, minus any credit card / payment service provider fee’s (2.0% for visa/mastercard, 3% for AMEX) in addition to merchant fees or any non-refundable elearning and/or course materials not returned in as new condition.  If a customer accidentally books a course or dive mistakenly the full merchant fee charged to us is non refundable.  Any chargebacks or disputes initiated by a customer from a mistaken charge or cancelled service within our terms will be charged $25 per chargeback.  Please email us at info@expeditiondive.com.au within that time so that we can resolve any request. Booking reservations after 3 days are considered date reserved and non-refundable.  Any last minute dives or services that are confirmed and delivered before 3 days from date of purchase are non-refundable and the 3 day refundable time frame is not applicable.

All purchases and Gift Cards are non-refundable. No shows without communication for any reason will not be refunded or credited.  If a customer arrives more than an hour late at a scheduled time no refund or credit is available.  Per ocean conditions, weather and previous groups timing variables, customers may have to wait up to 1 hour from their scheduled sessions. Such delays, if occured, do not entitle customer refunds or credits, however if delayed more than 1 hour or cannot commence due to weather a free reschedule will be offerred.   In all other cases a 10-day notification is required for cancellations/ free reschedules for full credit toward another dive for up to 6-months from original purchase date.  A minimum $50 reschedule/admin fee may apply if cancellation/reschedule is requested by purchaser for any reason if less than 10 days from a confirmed dived; this includes if purchaser/diver decides themselves they wish to reschedule on their own accord, including preferred weather and/or any other reason.   A dive deemed ‘confirmed’ is any schedule in which the diver/purchaser has accepted a confirmation verbally, by email, phone or text.  Any cost associated with a requested rescheduled date or differences in dive location/type will be charged.

In the unforeseeable event of weather making conditions too dangerous to dive as determined by the instructor/guide/captain onsite on the day of the dive, an alternative dive site and/or date will be made available FREE of charge minus any difference in dive location/type amounts (may be more or less).  If the amount is less, the difference will be refunded on the original purchasers card.

Although purchases are Non-refundable, full credits can be given with no reschedule fee if rescheduled not less than 10 days prior to dated dive or if determined unsafe diving conditions by your instructor or as deemed by Expedition Dive staff.

Last minute / same day rescheduling

Last minute rescheduling/no shows/late shows (eg. anything under 10 days reschedule is considered last minute) or deciding not to dive a second dive on booked double dives are considered forfeiture of dive(s) and are non-refundable.  This may result in reserved spot loss and/or full loss of credit as determined by Expedition Dive authorised staff on a case by case basis.  Additional fees may accompany forfeiture of dive(s).

*Please note by booking online and receiving a confirmation, this is considered date held.  We have reserved your spots, scheduled staff/instructors/guides, coordinated logistics and dedicated gear/filled tanks in preparation of your dives.  Thus, last minute reschedules or change of dives the day of or under the required notice period doesn’t change operational expenses that are a part of every scheduled dive and calculated in our dive rates.

Course Refund Policy

Once the 3 day period passes from initial purchase and/or the course has either commenced in person or online via elearning, courses are non-refundable.  Elearning portions issued are not refundable under any circumstances and there will be a minimum of 50% of the total course fee regardless of 3 day period policy.  The cost of elearning indicated at checkout is heavily discounted in conjunction with doing the full course and does not reflect the actual cost of elearning by itself.  Alternatively, if for some reason you are unable to complete your course either by choice or cancelled flight or other, we offer all participants up to 1 year from purchase date to complete on a rescheduled option.  If the course is not rescheduled within a years time, no credit will be extended and participants must rebook/resign up for their course or portions they failed to complete within the appropriate time frame if they wish to complete (this policy is not just for business operations flow purposes but for the participants benefit as courses are designed to build from eachothers sections, waiting too long in between disrupts learning).

Please note, reschedules that are less than 10 days from a booked course date or no shows will be charged a reschedule fee.  If a particpant for what ever reason is unable to complete their course and a year has not passed from original purchase date, they may pass/transfer credit of their course to another person (must be a statement by email and providing the other persons name).  The year expiry from original purchase date or what ever is left will still be applicable.  Elearning credits/course portions are non transferable.

This refund policy does not apply to goods which have been worn or used, damaged after delivery, or if any attempt has been made to alter the product or if they have been dropped or broken.  If transfering an approved credit from a course or dive, credit amounts may vary from original purchase price as course sections are discounted to be included as a whole and prices are subject to change.  A transfer/admin fee may apply and any credits given are still valid from 1 year of original purchase date.  The credit value amount, if applicable, may change per material/cost and may or may not be available per the discretion of Expedition Dive staff for each individual circumstance.  All products must be returned in their original condition. All postage and insurance costs are to be paid by the buyer. We recommend that you return the product via Registered post and that you pre pay all postage. You assume any risk of lost, theft or damaged goods during transit & therefore advise you take out shipment registration of insurance with your postal carrier. Expedition Dive will not be responsible for parcels lost or damaged in transit if you choose not to insure.

Weather Policy

In the unforseeable event of rain, high tides and/or wind, each instructor/guide shall make their own determination on conditions and safety to dive.  In the event it is deemed unsafe per the experience of the group and other variables as deemd by Expedition Dive Instructor/Guides, Expedition Dive will provide one or more of the following in such cases:

  1. An alternate date and/or location on the same day or next available day.  If this circumstance is applied, the relocation/reschedule is free of charge, excluding any changes in dive type and no reschedule fee will apply.
  2. *A full or partial credit or discount on future purchases as deemed by authorised Expedition Dive staff.  *Each circumstance will be assessed individually and at the sole authority of Expedition Dive authorised staff.

If dives are safe enough to dive/snorkel as deemed by the onsite instructor/guide and progresses, Expedition Dive is not responsible for effected visibility, currents or waves.   Each dive/snorkel spot is different and may have several variables, regardless, a service is considered delivered and fully non refundable and/or non creditable upon entry into water.  If a customer wishes to reschedule on the spot ‘for better preferred conditions’ prior to in water entry as deemed by the purchaser voluntarily, then a $50 per person rescheduling fee is applicable.  If a purchaser cannot do another date offered by Expedition Dive within 6 months of date of original purchase and a location is deemed safe enough to commence by instructor/guide, then the purchaser forfeits the full amount of the purchase.
